Dr. Liz works with children, adolescents, and their families in providing assessment and treatment services. She has expertise in helping youth address a variety of mental health and health-related difficulties and has a particular interest in working with children and youth with big emotions and associated behaviours. Dr. Liz completed her B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Dalhousie University. She has completed placements in various inpatient and outpatient settings and completed her predoctoral residency at the IWK Children’s Hospital. She also works part-time at the IWK with the Pediatric Health Psychology Service, covering a parental leave.
Dr. Liz strives to use an integrative and client-centered approach in her work. She values collaboration with youth and their families and meeting clients where they are now. She helps clients build on their strengths to support them in meeting their goals.
Dr. Liz works on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
